Bård Antonsen joined Grieg Shipbrokers in 2022 as a Senior Advisor focusing on S&P and Financing of Shipping and Offshore clients. Prior to Grieg, Bård run his own Shipping Advisory firm in Singapore for 6 years. He previously held various positions with Cleaves Asia in Singapore, Cleaves Securities, Pareto Project Finance and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) in Oslo and Arel Asset Management Group in New York. Bård is a graduate from Washington State University and holds a BA in Finance and an MBA with an Emphasis in Financial Management.

Christopher joined Grieg Shipbrokers in 2014 after having established a joint-venture shipbroking company with Barry Rogliano Salles (BRS) in Bergen in 2011. Before this, Christopher worked as a shipbroker with the newbuilding department of BRS, first in Paris from 2003 and later in Geneva from 2009, becoming a partner with the firm in 2005. Before joining BRS, Christopher worked in the structured finance department of BofA Merrill Lynch in London. Christopher holds an MSc in Political Economics from London School of Economics and a BSc from Macalester College.

Even joined Grieg Shipbrokers in 2018 from Nordea Bank’s Shipping and Offshore division. He has been instrumental in developing Grieg Shipbrokers’ Maritime Finance franchise and took over helm of the unit in 2022. Previous experience includes a tenure in the equity research division of AXIA Ventures Group, Athens. Even holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University and a BA from BI Norwegian Business School and HKUST.

Jan Fer joined Grieg Shipbrokers’ Maritime Finance department in August 2023 after completing his MSc in Finance and Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining Grieg Shipbrokers, Jan Fer held internship positions in shipping finance at a Dutch bank and as a business analyst at a Norwegian dry bulk operator.

Kaspar is a seasoned shipping and offshore financier, with more than 15 years’ experience from the banking industry in Bergen and London, incl. 12 years with German shipping financier DVB Bank. Kaspar holds an MA in International Business from the University of Sydney and a BA from BI Norwegian Business School.

Mari joined Grieg Shipbrokers in 2019, following MA studies in Norway. Prior to her post-graduate studies, Mari served as a Senior Associate with Financial Products Group (FPG) in Tokyo, structuring financial arrangements for vessels and marine containers. Her prior experience includes work as an Associate with MUFJ Morgan Stanley Securities in Tokyo. Mari holds a MSc from BI Norwegian Business School and a BA from Kanda University of International Studies in Chiba, Japan.

Morten has more than 15 years’ experience from shipbroking from Bergen and London. He spear-headed Grieg Shipbrokers’ drive into the shipping financing space and is responsible for developing the Maritime Finance franchise into the market leading financial arranger it is today. Morten holds an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and a BA from BI Norwegian Business School.
