Our Gas Department has extensive experience in the highly specialized LPG, NH3, Small Scale LNG and Petrochemical gas shipping markets. The team is actively providing services for spot cargoes, short/long term chartering, sales, and purchase/newbuilding projects/combination deals.

Active across all sizes within all geographical markets in LPG, Ammonia, Petrochemical gases, small scale LNG, and CCUS, we provide our clients with round the clock support both pre and post fixture, including time sensitive market data and information, supporting voyage, time charters and contracts of affreightments as required.
With over 100 years’ combined experience within gas carriers and the wider LPG, Ammonia, Petrochemical gas markets, small scale LNG, and CCUS, the department have unrivalled reach for both sellers and buyers of both new and second-hand units, able to support all clients irrespective of requirement, tonnage size, age or project.
In association with financial institutions, independent investors and private equity funds, we specialise in providing innovative, tailor-made financial solutions to our clients in connection with single or multi-vessel transactions for second-hand and newbuilding’s across all sizes within the gas market. We have a proven track record of concluding structured businesses with both public and private entities, irrespective of vessel age and size.
Grieg Shipbrokers have close to 140 years of experience in placement of newbuilding’s world-wide, and over 100 years combined experience within the department on gas carriers alone. As brokers, we are involved in all stages of the process from planning/design until vessel delivery. Our dedicated team follow changes in technological trends and the regulatory environment closely, and are constantly in discussions with end-customers, designers, and yards to ensure that our clients make decisions based on the broadest level of information. Our commercial insight and longstanding relationship with the yards strongly benefit our clients.
In conjunction with the research department, we are able to provide our clients research, analysis and intelligence within both the gas carrier and wider commodity markets.
