Birger started his career with Grieg in 1983, the first 8 years in the Offshore Department since when he has been in our Sale and Purchase Department. He is currently in charge of valuations as head of Grieg Shipbrokers Valuation Services.

Joachim Erlandsen
Director – Research
Joachim Erlandsen holds an MSc and a BSc in Economics and Business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a BSc in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen. He is a CFA Charterholder. Joachim started his career with IHS Markit as an upstream oil and gas analyst in 2012 and joined Grieg Shipbrokers in 2017. He is today head of the research department and project broker within in the gas carrier markets.
